Policy Statement

All students who are accepted at The Christ College of Nursing and Health Sciences are required to complete a health screening and provide documented immunity to specific diseases prior to starting classes as a condition of enrollment. All students must be current and compliant with each health requirement at all times throughout their enrollment with the College.

Immunizations must be current prior to the student's enrollment in classes.  Annual maintenance of the influenza (FLU) vaccine and tuberculosis surveillance (TB testing) per program-specific guidelines may be required.

If vaccine records are not available then serum titer documentation of immunity is required.  Students must comply with any additional immunizations or screenings required by a clinical facility at their own expense.

Failure to comply with the student vaccination policy may lead to limitations on participation in education activities and disciplinary actions which could include a rescinded offer of admission or dismissal.
