UAB employees may not appoint to any UAB position or enter into a UAB-related personal service contract with a member of their immediate family or another UAB employee who resides in the same household.  In addition, employees may not be the immediate supervisor for or be in the chain of command (i.e., make work-related decisions for immediate family members in regard to hiring, promotion, reassignment, performance evaluation, or discipline).
